26-1-2024 (MANILA) The Philippines recorded a trade deficit of $4.01 billion in December, according to government data released on Friday.
Import figures for December saw a decline of 5.1 per cent, amounting to $9.8 billion compared to the previous year. Similarly, exports experienced a slight decrease of 0.5 per cent, totaling $5.8 billion, as reported by the Philippine Statistics Authority.
