11-7-2024 (SINGAPORE) French luxury jeweller Cartier is set to dazzle Singapore with a week-long pop-up event commemorating the centennial of its iconic Trinity collection. The exhibition, scheduled from 15 to 23 July at the Art House, promises to be a glittering affair, blending history, artistry, and celebrity allure.
The build-up to this anticipated event kicked off with a glamorous launch party on 10 July at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore. The soirée attracted a constellation of international stars, turning the city-state into a temporary hub of global celebrity.
Among the luminaries gracing the event were Hong Kong-born singer Jackson Wang, Blackpink’s Jisoo, Filipino actress Heart Evangelista, and Thai actor Jeff Satur. Flying the flag for Singapore were local favourites Zoe Tay and Jeanette Aw, adding a touch of homegrown star power to the proceedings.
Jisoo’s appearance caused a particular stir among fans, who were caught off guard by her unexpected presence. The K-pop idol’s last-minute trip to Singapore led to playful speculation online, with one admirer dubbing her “a ninja” for her stealthy international movements.
During the event, Jisoo was spotted mingling with fellow South Korean actress Roh Yoon-seo and Cartier executives Anne Yitzhakov and Yanina Novitskaya, the managing director for Cartier Singapore and CEO of Cartier Southeast Asia, respectively.

However, Jisoo’s Singaporean sojourn was fleeting. By Thursday morning, she was captured on camera arriving at South Korea’s Incheon Airport, having already bid farewell to the Lion City.
The pop star later shared glimpses of her whirlwind trip on the fan messaging app Bubble. One intriguing snapshot showed her holding a crab claw, hinting at a taste of local cuisine. In her message, she wrote: “Blinks! I’m back in Korea. Haha. The weather in Korea is clear! It’s not raining?! I was sad that my trip to Singapore was short but after finishing my schedules, we all ate chilli crab.”
The upcoming Trinity 100 pop-up promises to be an immersive experience, featuring seven interconnected rooms that will guide visitors through the rich history and enduring legacy of the Trinity collection. In a nod to contemporary artistry, the exhibition will showcase a music and light installation by Jackson Wang, demonstrating Cartier’s commitment to blending traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity.
Further enhancing the local flavour, Cartier has commissioned works from three Singaporean artists. Visitors can look forward to an engaging film by He Shuming, an interactive structure by industrial designer Olivia Lee, and an immersive sound experience crafted by composer-pianist Churen Li.
