The 29-year-old husband, desperate to reconcile with his 30-year-old wife who had left their home, arranged a meeting in hopes of persuading her to return. However, to everyone’s horror, the husband unexpectedly detonated a hand grenade during the negotiation, instantly killing both of them in a gruesome and devastating explosion.
According to Gulf News, neighbors revealed that the couple had a history of strained relations, particularly intensifying over the past few months. Following their escalating conflicts, the wife had moved back to her parents’ home. However, the husband remained determined to win her back, yearning for her return. On the 15th of this month, the husband expressed his willingness to engage in a negotiation with his wife. He arranged to meet her near the “Al Kamsari” park, hoping that the presence of witnesses would serve as a third-party testament to their discussion. As the location was adjacent to the park, their heated conversation and subsequent argument attracted a crowd of onlookers.
However, things took a horrifying turn when the husband, engaged in a close confrontation with his wife, suddenly produced a hand grenade. Clutching his wife tightly, he triggered the explosive device, resulting in a burst of flames witnessed by the horrified bystanders and captured on surveillance cameras.
Reports indicate that both the husband and wife tragically lost their lives in the blast. Their bodies were mutilated, and the scene was marked by a gruesome and sorrowful aftermath. Local residents attempted to intervene and defuse the situation, but the husband’s emotional state was highly agitated, leading to the detonation of the grenade. Upon receiving the report, law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene to handle the situation. The bodies of the ill-fated couple have been sent to the forensic department for examination, and the case is now being treated as a criminal investigation.
