YOTEL, the renowned global hospitality brand known for its disruptive approach, is set to make its mark in Thailand with the unveiling of YOTEL Bangkok. The new hotel, scheduled to open its doors in 2025, will be part of the cutting-edge Cloud 11, a groundbreaking mixed-use development spanning 250,000 square meters. Cloud 11 aims to become a vibrant hub for artists, creators, and tech entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia. As a sustainable initiative, the development will feature Thailand’s largest rooftop park, acting as an urban sanctuary within the city.
This announcement marks the third signing for YOTEL in 2023 and is in line with the brand’s strategy to reach 50 hotels by 2025.
Designed by the internationally acclaimed Snøhetta in collaboration with A49 Architects, and developed by the leading Thai real estate developer Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), Cloud 11 is poised to connect the Asian creative industry with the cutting-edge world of entertainment technology. The project will provide endless possibilities as it becomes a central hub for creators in gaming, music and podcasting, film and animation, and digital arts.
Hubert Viriot, CEO of YOTEL, expressed the brand’s excitement, stating, “At YOTEL, we constantly seek to immerse ourselves in the world’s smartest destinations. Cloud 11 will serve as a hub for tech innovation and digital learning, making it the perfect location for our first hotel in Thailand and for our Generation Go guests. We are delighted to be the chosen brand for this development, as our values align perfectly with MQDC’s vision and mission for Cloud 11. Additionally, we anticipate significant demand for hotel rooms as the area evolves into an interconnected community for government entities, private agencies, universities, start-ups, and leading technology companies worldwide.”

Therefore, Cloud 11 is dedicated to empowering creators by establishing a comprehensive ecosystem that connects local talents with global stakeholders.
