23-5-2023 (Singapore) Kit Chan, a renowned singer whose name resonates with every Singaporean, is gearing up to celebrate her remarkable 30-year career in the music industry. To mark this milestone, Chan has announced a spectacular three-night concert, titled “The Little Things – Kit Chan 30th Anniversary Concert,” which will take place at the prestigious Sands Theatre in Marina Bay Sands from September 8 to 10.
The highly anticipated event will feature a captivating repertoire of fan favorites, as well as a selection of songs that Chan has never performed during her previous concerts. Attendees will also have the exclusive privilege of being the first in the world to witness her live performance of a special 30th-anniversary song, written by her long-time collaborator Tom Pan.
Reflecting on her remarkable journey, Chan expressed, “When I first contemplated my 30th anniversary, it felt like a significant milestone, and everyone was curious to know my thoughts and perspectives after three decades in this industry. However, I realized that it was truly the little things that mattered, the small moments that led me to this point, rather than the big milestones.”
Chan’s illustrious career began in 1993 with the release of her EP “Do Not Destroy The Harmony.” However, she achieved widespread recognition through her iconic song “Home,” which became one of the beloved National Day Parade theme songs in 1998. Throughout the years, Chan has also showcased her versatility by venturing into musical theater, with her notable portrayal of the late Madam Kwa Geok Choo in the acclaimed production “The LKY Musical” in 2022.
Tickets for “The Little Things – Kit Chan 30th Anniversary Concert” will be available for purchase starting from Friday, May 26. Interested fans can secure their seats through Marina Bay Sands Ticketing and SISTIC. Ticket prices will range from S$88 to S$248, excluding booking fees.
