30-11-2023 (BANGKOK) A truck transporting cooking gas overturned and ignited on Wednesday afternoon in Bangkok’s Rama 3 area, as reported by the police.
The incident unfolded on Rama 3 road, specifically in front of Soi 1. The driver and a passenger in the vehicle are said to have sustained injuries, prompting their immediate transfer to Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital for medical attention.
Due to repeated explosions emanating from the vehicle, the police have implemented access restrictions to the affected area. Utilizing firefighting foam, authorities managed to extinguish the flames in approximately 15 minutes.
The exact cause of the incident remains undisclosed as investigations are underway to determine the factors leading to the truck overturning and catching fire.
