13-6-2023 (JAKARTA) Boeing has recently entered into an agreement with AirNav Indonesia, marking a significant step towards improving the safety and efficiency of Indonesia’s national air traffic management system. The collaboration aims to enhance airport and flight operations, which will contribute to a safer and more sustainable aviation system in Indonesia by optimizing aircraft movement and reducing fuel consumption.
According to Boeing, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) will leverage the company’s engineering expertise in conjunction with the Indonesian government’s initiatives in airspace management, training, and strategic planning for air traffic management. The collaboration will involve close cooperation with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Indonesia, local airlines, airport operators, and other key stakeholders in the aviation sector.
Mdm. Polana B. Pramesti, president director of AirNav Indonesia, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing that airspace capacity and air traffic management are areas of mutual interest that require collaborative efforts. She looks forward to the collaboration with Boeing, recognizing the importance of their joint work.

Recognizing this potential, Mike Sinnett, senior vice president and general manager of Product Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, affirmed Boeing’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s civil aviation industry.
