3-8-2023 (SEOUL) Blackpink member Jisoo and South Korean actor Ahn Bo-hyun have reportedly confirmed their relationship. South Korean media outlet Dispatch initially revealed the news, publishing photos of the couple exiting Jisoo’s apartment building in Yongsan, South Korea.
According to Dispatch, Jisoo, who is 28 years old, is a “homebody” who spends most of her time at home after returning from overseas. As such, the couple will meet up at her residence.
Hours later, Blackpink’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed the news, releasing a statement saying, “They have just started their relationship in the stage of getting to know each other with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze.” Ahn’s agency, FN Entertainment, released the same statement. The actor is 35 years old.
Jisoo is currently the only member of Blackpink who is confirmed to be in a relationship. The other members of the group, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, have not made any public statements regarding their dating lives.
Blackpink is currently on a break from their ongoing Born Pink world tour, which will resume on August 11th. The four-member team will perform at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.
The confirmation of Jisoo’s relationship comes after a video allegedly showing Jennie and BTS’ V holding hands in Paris was released online in May. However, neither YG Entertainment nor HYBE confirmed the rumours.
Fans of Blackpink have expressed their support for Jisoo and Ahn’s relationship, sending warm messages to the couple on social media.
