20-6-2023 (TAIPEI) Youtuber Lyla Ho has sparked controversy for her actions of kissing fellow Youtuber Chang Chia-Hang, also known as the “Asian God.” Chia-Hang has now spoken out about Lyla’s behavior. “Asian God” shared that he was kissed by Lyla Ho during a performance. However, he did not request or desire the kiss. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation, Chia-Hang recently claimed that Lyla had sexually harassed him.
In his latest live broadcast, Chang Chia-Hang addressed the prevalent issue of sexual harassment. However, this topic reminded his fans of a past incident involving Chia-Hang.
Netizens began questioning Chia-Hang about his feelings regarding Lyla Ho kissing him during an online event three years ago. Chia-Hang admitted that he was surprised by Lyla’s actions.
At the time, Chia-Hang quickly pushed Lyla away, raised his hand, and said, “Don’t touch me without permission,” without looking at her.
Chia-Hang recently shared that the incident made him uncomfortable and made him feel sexually harassed. He also expressed his confusion as to why Lyla would initiate physical contact with him.
Furthermore, Chia-Hang discussed how when sexual harassment is experienced by men, they are severely disadvantaged as they do not receive the same level of support as women.
“Sometimes women touch my stomach, chest, and buttocks. If you were to accuse them, do you think the judge would be fair?” he revealed.
Lyla Ho then openly apologized for her actions.
“I sincerely apologize for kissing the cheek of ‘Asian God,’ Chang Chia-Hang, three years ago, which made you feel uncomfortable and sexually harassed,” she wrote.
“Since it has been a long time since the event was recorded, I don’t remember all the details. I only remember that because of your melancholic eyes, beard, and handsome face, I was disturbed and infatuated. In the future, I will do everything possible to stay away from ‘Asian God’ Chang Chia-Hang and his relatives to avoid harassment,” Lyla added.
