15-9-2023 (SEOUL) YG Entertainment has issued an official statement regarding the contract renewals of BLACKPINK member Lisa. Responding to rumors circulating in the media, the entertainment agency clarified the current status of negotiations.
In a statement provided to TV Report, YG Entertainment confirmed that discussions regarding Lisa’s contract renewal are still ongoing. The agency emphasized that the rumors circulating at present have not been confirmed.
Earlier reports had suggested that Lisa had rejected a contract offer from YG Entertainment worth $40 million USD. Furthermore, back in July, it was reported that negotiations between Lisa and the agency were at a significant impasse. As the contracts of all BLACKPINK members are set to expire this year, fans have been eagerly awaiting any official announcements regarding their renewals.
