The incident, which occurred during the morning rush, has left local diners stunned and raised questions about security in public dining establishments.
According to police reports, the alarm was raised at 9:34 am on August 29th when the suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, allegedly seized a knife from a restaurant table and attempted to rob an unsuspecting patron. The would-be thief’s plans were swiftly thwarted by the quick-thinking and courageous intervention of the restaurant staff, forcing her to flee the premises empty-handed.
