28-8-2024 (KUALA LUMPUR) A viral video on TikTok has sparked debate among Malaysian netizens after it showed a frustrated driver taking matters into his own hands when faced with an inconsiderately parked vehicle blocking his exit.
The incident, which occurred in an unspecified location, involved a car that had been double-parked without leaving a contact number for the owner. This thoughtless act prevented another car from leaving its parking spot.
In the video, shared by a Malay TikTok user, the blocked driver can be seen picking up a stone and using it to smash the window of the offending car. After breaking the glass, he reaches inside to release the handbrake and proceeds to push the car out of the way, clearing his exit path.

The footage has ignited a heated discussion online, with many internet users expressing support for the man’s actions. Commenters argue that the Myvi driver’s irresponsible double-parking, especially without leaving contact information, justified the extreme measures taken to resolve the situation.

One netizen wrote, “Serves them right. If you’re going to double-park, at least leave your number so people can contact you.”
Another added, “This is what happens when people are inconsiderate. The Myvi driver should have thought about the consequences.”
However, not all viewers condoned the man’s actions. Some pointed out that regardless of the provocation, smashing someone else’s property is illegal and could result in legal consequences for the frustrated driver.
A more cautious commenter noted, “While I understand his frustration, breaking the car window is going too far. He might end up having to pay for damages now.”
This incident highlights the ongoing issue of illegal and inconsiderate parking in Malaysian urban areas, where limited parking spaces often lead to conflicts between drivers.
