18-7-2024 (WASHINGTON) A video featuring a man’s purported prediction of an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has resurfaced, capturing public attention following the recent shocking incident at a political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The video, originally posted on 14 March, shows Brandon Biggs in conversation with Christian author and pastor Steve Cioccolanti. In the interview, Biggs claims to have foreseen an attempt on Trump’s life, describing a scenario eerily similar to the events that unfolded on Saturday.
During a campaign rally, the former president narrowly escaped tragedy when a bullet grazed his right ear. The incident occurred as Trump addressed supporters, prompting immediate action from his Secret Service detail who swiftly escorted him to safety.
In his prophetic account, Biggs had stated, “This bullet flew by his ear, and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum.” While the prediction partially aligns with the actual events, it’s worth noting that Trump did not suffer a ruptured eardrum as Biggs had suggested.
The assailant, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, was fatally shot by Secret Service agents at the scene. The attack also resulted in the tragic death of rally attendee Corey Comperatore and left two others injured – David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, both Pennsylvania residents.
In the aftermath of the incident, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to recount the harrowing experience. “I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realised then what was happening,” the former president wrote.
The assassination attempt occurred just days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Trump is expected to secure the party’s presidential nomination. Despite the traumatic event, Trump has called for national unity, emphasising the importance of remaining “Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win.”
President Joe Biden responded to the incident with a statement condemning the violence and expressing relief at Trump’s recovery. “There is no place in America for this kind of violence or for any violence for that matter,” Biden affirmed, adding that he had a “short but good conversation” with Trump following the incident.
