The police swiftly cordoned off the affected unit in Bukit Batok West HDB, employing plastic curtains to shield the corridor as they conducted their investigation. The incident, which occurred on the morning of Saturday, January 6, resulted in the tragic death of a woman, with a child rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The event transpired at a second-floor unit in Block 460B, Bukit Batok West Avenue 9.
According to Shin Min Daily News, there are speculations at the scene suggesting that the case might involve disputes between neighbors, though this remains unconfirmed and subject to police investigation.
