30-7-2023 (JAKARTA) A minibus collided with the Dhoho train in Dusun Gondekan, Jombang, East Java, resulting in the tragic death of 6 individuals. At the time of the incident, the victims were on their way from Sidoarjo to Kediri for a holiday and to visit their extended family’s home.
As reported by detikJatim, Nesi Neneng Rahayu (43) rushed to the Jombang Regional General Hospital (RSUD) after receiving news from the police. Nesi, a resident of Kabuh, Jombang, was accompanied by her husband, Sutriantono (41).
According to Nesi, there were 8 people inside the minibus, all of whom were her husband’s family members. Among them was Az Zahra Rohima Khoirunnisa (13), her stepdaughter. Her two other children reside with her in Kabuh, Jombang.
“They are my husband’s family. (The group) was heading from Balongbendo to Kediri, all 8 of them together,” Nesi told reporters at RSUD Jombang on Sunday (July 30, 2023).
