13-7-2023 (SEOUL) The rumored romance between K-pop stars Jennie of Blackpink and V of BTS has taken another intriguing turn. After a series of leaked personal photos and speculations of betrayal, things reached a climax when a French journalist claimed to have spotted the pair walking hand-in-hand in Paris back in May.
Now, Jennie has added fuel to the fire by posting on Instagram, subtly hinting at her relationship with the BTS idol. Yesterday’s (July 12) post featured Jennie, 27, wearing an outfit that bore a striking resemblance to the one she wore in the Paris photos. Sporting a white hat, sunglasses, plaid scarf, Calvin Klein sweater, jeans, and a crossbody bag, she captioned the post, “Few weeks back.”
The next photo in the series showed Jennie wearing a cream jacket over the ensemble, seemingly the same one she was seen wearing in the journalist’s video. Notably, in the photo, she had tied the plaid scarf to her bag instead of around her neck.
It wasn’t just the outfit that caught the attention of fans of Blackpink and BTS. The final photo in Jennie’s post showcased a delectable dish of caviar, and sharp-eyed fans quickly noticed that the plating resembled one from V’s Instagram Story on May 22. Both Jennie and V, also 27, happened to be in Paris around that time.
Fans took to Twitter to speculate, with one wondering if V had recommended the restaurant to Jennie. Another theory suggested that individuals seen in V’s dinner party photos were actually Jennie’s friends or employees.
