Not one to back down, Zuckerberg retaliated by posting a screenshot of Musk’s tweet on his Instagram account with the caption “send me location.”

While initially perceived as a joke, it has been confirmed that Zuckerberg’s response was genuine. Meta spokesperson Iska Saric stated, “The story speaks for itself,” leaving the ball in Musk’s court.
In response to the article, Musk replied with two words: “Vegas Octagon.” He further added, “I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus,’ where I just lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.” The back-and-forth banter between the tech billionaires escalated after recent reports about Meta’s upcoming Twitter competitor, with Musk taunting Zuckerberg on Twitter with remarks like “Zuck my ????.”
During an internal all-hands meeting at Meta, Chief Product Officer Chris Cox mentioned that the company believes creators are looking for a “sanely run” version of Twitter, which received applause from employees. Zuckerberg himself expressed his vision for Twitter, saying, “I’ve always thought that Twitter should have a billion people using it,” in a podcast interview with Lex Fridman.
