In the semifinal, Thailand, a two-time champion, pulled off an impressive upset by defeating Japan, a five-time champion, in a thrilling five-set match on Tuesday. Meanwhile, in the first semi-final match held on Tuesday at the Korat Chatchai Hall, China, a formidable team with an impressive record of 13 championships, secured their place in the final by defeating Vietnam in a convincing 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-22) victory. This marks China’s return to the championship final for the first time since 2015.
