29-11-2023 (BANGKOK) In a poignant tale from Kamphaeng Phet, Central Thailand, a 31-year-old dental assistant, Suphaporn Ninlabordee, sought divine assistance at the Kamphaeng Phet City Pillar Shrine to overcome the challenges of her prolonged divorce. After facing a tumultuous relationship for 15 years and attempting to secure a divorce for the last five, Ms. Suphaporn resorted to divine intervention at the shrine.
Her tumultuous marriage led to persistent conflicts, prompting her to request a divorce five years ago. Despite moving out, her ex-husband continued to visit, aggravating the situation. Although he eventually agreed to the divorce, he demanded a payment ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 baht – a sum beyond Ms. Suphaporn’s monthly earnings of around 8,000 baht.
In a bid for divine help, Ms. Suphaporn made a vow at the Kamphaeng Phet City Pillar Shrine, promising to run 20km if her divorce was successful. Subsequently, she sought legal assistance, and the court ruled in her favor, bringing an end to the protracted legal battle.
True to her promise, Ms. Suphaporn fulfilled the vow on November 27 by running 20km from the City Pillar Shrine to her workplace. Accompanied by friends and family ensuring her safety along the route, she reached her workplace, marking the end of a challenging chapter in her life.
