17-1-2024 (BANGKOK) In a unique twist on the practice of fortune-telling, Thai actress Aum Lukkana Wattanawongsiri has taken it upon herself to tattoo moles on her face and neck, believing it will bring her good luck. The actress recently discussed her decision in a video uploaded by Thai YouTuber Archita Siripinyanond on January 11.
Pointing to a mole under her left eye, the 40-year-old explained that she already had a natural mole in that spot but chose to remove it because it was believed to bring disappointment in love. Aum initially did not believe in the superstition associated with moles, but after experiencing an unfortunate event, she decided to have the mole removed and then tattooed again. The reason behind her decision to get it inked remains undisclosed.

“These new moles are ones I just had tattooed because I’m too lazy to use eyeliner to paint them,” Aum confessed.
In addition to the mole under her left eye, Aum had other moles tattooed on her face. One, located on the left side of her nose, is meant to symbolize her charm and wealth. Another, on her left cheekbone, represents prosperity and support from others. Aum also got a mole tattooed at the base of her neck in an attempt to imitate the moles of two Thai superstars, Blackpink’s Lisa and actress-model Yaya Urassaya Sperbund.
“Right now, it’s Lisa and Yaya’s mole,” Aum explained. “Believe it or not, since getting it tattooed, money has been flowing in non-stop, and I have been getting a lot of work just because of this tattoo.”
Netizens took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), to share their opinions on Aum’s decision. One Thai netizen shared their mother’s belief that Lisa’s neck mole is auspicious according to Chinese texts, indicating luck, fortune, wealth, and support, with no unlucky days ahead for the person possessing such a mole. Others joked about having a similar mole but not experiencing any financial windfalls.
