20-11-2023 (BANGKOK) A 16-year-old vocational college student, dressed in his school uniform, was shot and killed in Dusit district. Witnesses reported that four assailants on motorcycles fled the scene after the attack.
The murder took place on Soi Ranong 2 Road, right in front of Kornkaew Montessori School. The victim, a second-year student at Dusit Technical College located on the same road, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his chest and died on the spot. Police discovered a pen gun at the crime scene.
According to friends of the victim, he was ambushed by four men riding two motorcycles, both lacking license plates. After the shooting, the attackers swiftly escaped along Rama V Road.
This incident follows closely on the heels of another tragedy just a week ago. In Klong Toey district, a teacher lost their life due to a stray bullet when a vocational student was shot.
