16-11-2023 (BANGKOK) A shocking incident has come to light in the southern province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, where a 15-year-old boy almost lost his penis in a horrifying incident orchestrated by his schoolmates. The incident, which occurred on August 1, involved the attackers forcing the victim to undergo a beeswax injection, capturing the procedure on video, and subsequently attempting to blackmail him.
The victim’s mother disclosed the harrowing details, stating that her son was dragged into a school bathroom by older students. One of the assailants melted beeswax on a spoon and injected it into the boy’s penis. The attackers recorded the traumatic act and threatened to make the video public if the victim reported the incident. The victim’s private parts were severely swollen, and the injury was life-threatening, with the potential to develop into cancer due to nerve damage.
Despite the severity of the incident, the case has faced obstacles in progressing due to the school’s lack of cooperation. The school director reportedly threatened to expel the victim if the family pursued the case. Seeking justice, the mother reached out to social media celebrity Kannarat “Gun” Pongpaiboonwet, expressing frustration over the school’s inadequate response.
The victim, treated in multiple hospitals, requires a three-month medical process to remove the beeswax and address the physical and mental trauma. Dr. Jirawee Chantaranukul from Lelux Hospital highlighted the severity of the injury, emphasizing the destruction of nerves in the organ.
Gun, committed to seeking justice, has pledged to escalate the matter to Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn, and advocate for the victim’s rights with the Ministry of Education. The incident has sparked outrage on social media, prompting calls for accountability and a thorough investigation into the disturbing events at the Nakhon Si Thammarat school.
