3-12-2024 (SEOUL) Rising South Korean television star Park Min-jae has tragically passed away at the age of 32 following a cardiac arrest whilst travelling in China, his agency has confirmed.
The actor, known for his roles in popular Korean dramas including ‘Little Women’, ‘Snap And Spark’, and ‘True To Love’, died on 29 November, sending shockwaves through the Korean entertainment industry.
News of Park’s untimely death was first shared by his brother through a heartfelt Instagram post announcing the funeral arrangements. The service is scheduled for Wednesday, with the family extending an open invitation to mourners wishing to pay their final respects.
“Our beloved brother has found his peaceful rest,” the emotional social media post read, expressing the family’s desire for a communal farewell whilst apologising for being unable to reach out to everyone individually.
Big Title, Park’s management agency, later issued an official statement confirming the devastating news. The agency paid tribute to the actor’s dedication to his craft, describing him as a “beautiful actor who loved acting and always gave his best”.
“Though we will no longer have the privilege of witnessing his performances, his legacy as a Big Title artist will be remembered with pride,” the agency statement continued, concluding with heartfelt condolences.
