22-8-2024 (BANGKOK) A small aircraft tragically crash-landed in a remote forest area near Wat Khao Din in Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province. The incident, which occurred under alarming circumstances, left the fate of those aboard the plane still unknown as authorities continue their search and rescue efforts.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the plane veer out of control before plunging into the dense forest, followed by a loud explosion just before impact. The force of the crash scattered debris over a wide area, complicating the efforts of the emergency response teams who rushed to the scene.
Upon reaching the crash site, officials discovered pieces of the wreckage strewn across the muddy terrain. Initial investigations have unearthed some personal effects, including clothing, a wristwatch, and a bag containing documents. These items have led authorities to suspect that a foreign woman may have been on board, potentially accompanied by a child.
Despite their best efforts, rescue teams have yet to locate any survivors or victims within the wreckage, and the thick mud coupled with a significant oil spill in the area is hampering progress.
