25-11-2023 (MANILA) A devastating fire engulfed a house in Quezon province, located southeast of Manila, resulting in the tragic loss of six family members and leaving two others injured, according to local police.
Authorities reported that the fire trapped the victims, including a 69-year-old woman and her five grandchildren, inside the two-story house situated in Candelaria town. Two females, aged 48 and 37, sustained injuries during the incident.
Eyewitnesses described the harrowing scene as a neighbor observed the fire and witnessed the victims helplessly trapped inside, desperately shouting for assistance.
The fire broke out at approximately 1 a.m. local time and took an hour and a half to extinguish, leaving the house completely gutted.
