29-9-2023 (SINGAPORE) Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has apprehended five individuals suspected of involvement in drug-related activities, with their ages ranging from 17 to 21. The CNB issued a statement on Friday detailing the operation’s outcomes.
During the operation, CNB officers seized a substantial quantity of illicit substances, including 204 grams of methamphetamine (commonly known as “ice”), 143 grams of cannabis, 12 grams of ketamine, and 12 ecstasy pills. Additionally, scheduled weapons were also confiscated during the operation.
The combined street value of the seized drugs was estimated at approximately SGD 71,000, equivalent to 52,000 US dollars, according to the CNB statement.
