5-11-2023 (SINGAPORE) The hosts of the long-running Korean variety show, Running Man, received a warm welcome from their Singaporean fanbase as they filmed scenes at Lau Pa Sat. The group arrived in Singapore on November 4, and wasted no time in getting to work.
On Sunday, November 5, fans spotted the hosts at various locations in Singapore, including Haji Lane and Mandai Bird Paradise. The hosts in attendance were Song Ji-hyo, Yoo Jae-seok, and Ji Seok-jin, who had reportedly been seen at Incheon airport on November 4. This suggests that the hosts arrived in Singapore on the same evening and immediately began shooting scenes at Lau Pa Sat.
Apart from their filming, the stars also took the time to interact with fans and diners. Fan accounts on Instagram and TikTok shared pictures and footage of the hosts mingling with the crowd, taking selfies, and even sitting at the hawker centre’s benches.
The hosts didn’t limit their visits to Lau Pa Sat; they also explored other attractions in the city. Footage on Instagram showed them visiting Mandai Bird Paradise and Haji Lane on November 5 for additional filming. They also made a stop at a prawn noodle eatery in the vicinity and indulged in a foot spa experience.
Notably absent from the scenes was South Korean actress Jeon So-min, who had departed from the show on October 30 after a six-year tenure.
While this marks the first time Running Man has filmed scenes in Singapore, the show has had prior interactions with the country. In 2013 and 2014, they hosted fan meetings in Singapore, and in 2022, Haha was spotted shopping at a Raffles City supermarket.
