According to reports from Chinese media, the incident occurred at the Nandaihe International Entertainment Center in Qinhuangdao on the 6th of this month. A roller coaster suddenly came to a halt, leaving 11 people stranded while being suspended upside down on the track. The sight of passengers hanging headfirst in mid-air terrified many onlookers. Witnesses stated that the malfunction lasted for approximately 20 minutes, until the park activated its backup power source to rescue the stranded individuals.
The security department of the Qinhuangdao Tourism Bureau later confirmed that the incident was caused by an unexpected power outage within the park, describing it as an extremely unusual situation. The park continues to operate normally, with only certain attractions temporarily closed for maintenance and inspection.
