Detailing the unfortunate mishap, Wilson recounted that she required stitches after sustaining facial injuries during a stunt gone awry. The incident occurred when she was accidentally struck in the face with a prop weapon while filming in Savannah, Georgia. The actress shared the story on her Instagram, explaining that the mishap took place during a night shoot, marking the final scene of the film. She had already executed numerous intense fight sequences successfully, only for the last one to result in an unexpected accident.
Reflecting on the incident, Wilson conveyed that the blow to her face with the butt of a prop gun was “such a shock.” Nonetheless, she clarified that it was an entirely unintentional occurrence. She expressed gratitude for the outpouring of well-wishes from her fans and assured them that her stitches had dissolved, and her injuries were healing effectively.
Updating her followers on her recovery, Wilson expressed, “I just wanted to say thank you for all your well-wishes. I’ve actually been healing quite amazing. The stitches have dissolved out. In a message directed at its members, SAG-AFTRA explained the rationale behind the interim agreement: “The interim agreement gives many of our journeyman performers and crews the opportunity to pay their rent and feed their families. This approach maintains our strength, solidarity and upper hand with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers until they yield to the deal we deserve.”
