In a video posted on TikTok by a woman, the employee was seen using a banknote handed over by a customer to clean his teeth. The woman can be heard expressing her disgust at the employee’s behaviour, while another passenger questions whether the employee will deposit the same banknote into a cash machine later. The incident has sparked widespread condemnation on social media, with many netizens expressing their disgust at the employee’s unhygienic behaviour.
The video has since gone viral, with over 60,000 views on social media. Netizens have criticised the employee’s actions, with one user commenting, “If I ever get that banknote, it will give me a mental trauma,” while another said, “This is why I try to avoid using cash.”
