13-1-2024 (LIMA) The mystery surrounding the so-called “alien mummies” discovered at Lima’s airport in October last year has been debunked by a recent scientific analysis, revealing their entirely Earthly origins. At a press conference in Lima, experts described the two small specimens as humanoid dolls, likely crafted from a combination of human and animal parts. Additionally, a separate three-fingered hand from Peru’s Nazca region, believed by some to be extraterrestrial, was also analyzed and found to have no connection to alien life.
Flavio Estrada, an archaeologist with Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, stated, “They’re not extraterrestrials. They’re dolls made from animal bones from this planet joined together with modern synthetic glue. It’s totally a made-up story.”
The two figurines were discovered in a cardboard box in the offices of courier DHL at Lima airport, designed to resemble mummified bodies adorned in traditional Andean attire. Initial speculation about possible alien origins arose, but the recent analysis dispelled such notions.
Last September, another set of tiny mummified bodies with elongated heads and three-fingered hands was presented at a Mexican congressional hearing. However, experts dismissed them as a likely fraud, potentially a combination of mutilated ancient human mummies and animal parts. At the recent Lima press conference organized by Peru’s culture ministry, experts did not establish a link between the dolls found in the DHL office and the bodies presented in Mexico. They emphasized that both sets of remains are not of extraterrestrial origin.
