Coincidentally, on the same day, another image of a person wearing a similar outfit near the doors of an MRT train on the North-East Line also went viral. Although it is unconfirmed whether the two individuals in the viral images are the same person, the incidents sparked discussions about inappropriate behavior in public spaces.
In response to the incident, FairPrice Group addressed the matter and assured the public that they took immediate action. A spokesperson for FairPrice Group confirmed that the incident took place at their Bukit Merah Central store on February 23. They emphasized that the safety of their customers and employees is their top priority.
