The evacuation process is scheduled to be completed by early Thursday, coinciding with the anticipated landfall of the cyclone in the southern coastal areas of Pakistan, including Karachi, the capital city of the Sindh province. Chairman Malik emphasized the heightened intensity of the cyclone, which has now been classified as a “very severe” cyclonic emergency. He further stated that extensive measures are being implemented to mitigate the potential impact of the storm and minimize any weather-related damage.
