Residents of Yeonpyeong Island are currently undergoing a swift evacuation process following a request from the South Korean military, expressing concerns over potential provocations from North Korea. Evacuation warnings were promptly issued at 12:02 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., urging residents to prioritize their safety amid the escalating tensions in the region.
Situated near the maritime border with North Korea, Yeonpyeong Island has faced persistent threats, with the current move reflecting the gravity of the situation.
