1-8-2023 (NEW DELHI) A newly married woman from Bihar, India, went missing suddenly while on a honeymoon trip with her husband on a train. The husband expressed deep concern, stating that his wife went to use the restroom and never returned. Despite reporting the incident and authorities checking the train’s surveillance footage, no trace of the woman could be found, leaving her disappearance shrouded in mystery.
The woman, identified as Kajal, boarded the New Delhi-Jaynagar Jan Shatabdi Express train with her husband on Friday (28th) in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar. They were en route to their honeymoon destination in Darjeeling. However, when the train reached the Jigsarjan station, Kajal suddenly vanished.
The husband shared his distressing account, saying, “We had booked seats 43 and 45 in coach B4. When the train arrived at Jigsarjan, my wife went to use the restroom, but she never returned. When the train departed again, I searched all the coaches, but she was nowhere to be found.”
Upon receiving the complaint, the police examined the train’s surveillance footage, but there was no sight of the woman. The husband mentioned that they got married about six months ago, and due to family commitments, they were only able to go on their honeymoon now. He believes his wife’s friendly nature might have made her a target for abduction on the train. The case has captured local attention, and the investigation is still ongoing to unravel the mysterious disappearance.
