26-10-2023 (PHNOM PENH) A British tourist in Cambodia experienced a rather shocking and unconventional wake-up call when he reportedly awoke to find a monkey engaging in a lewd act in his hotel room.
The peculiar incident unfolded when the tourist inadvertently left his hotel room window open before retiring for the night. The following morning, the tourist’s friends entered his room, only to be met with an utterly bizarre and unexpected sight.
One of the friends, undoubtedly startled by the scene, discreetly captured a photograph as evidence before quickly retreating from the room, apprehensive that the monkey might pose a threat to the unsuspecting tourist.
Fortunately, it seems that the quick-thinking friend was able to coax the monkey out of the room, ultimately releasing the tourist from his unusual predicament.
WhatsApp Group Chat Reveals Startling Monkey Encounter
Details of this peculiar episode were disclosed by an acquaintance of the travelers in what appeared to be a WhatsApp group conversation. The conversation was subsequently recorded and shared online, gaining considerable attention. As of the time of writing, the recording had garnered over 14,800 likes and 2,089 reposts.
The incident took place at a hotel in Cambodia where an unspecified number of travelers had opted to leave their room windows open before settling in for the night. The following day, the travelers were met with a startling sight as they entered one of their companion’s rooms.
It turned out that a mischievous monkey had somehow made its way into the room, where it was reportedly engaging in behavior that left the observers quite shocked.
A Hasty Exit and Attempt to Lure the Monkey
The friend who stumbled upon the unexpected spectacle took a photograph of the incident before swiftly leaving the room, fearing the potential harm the monkey might inflict on the tourist.
Subsequently, the group of friends resorted to making monkey noises outside the window in an attempt to coax the curious primate out of the room.
Upon waking up and learning of the incident, the affected tourist decided to promptly depart, booking a flight back home, leaving friends and acquaintances bewildered and unable to reach him.
Based on the timestamp of the image, this rather extraordinary event occurred last June, making it a bizarre and unforgettable encounter for the British tourist during his stay in Cambodia.
