The 61-year-old actress shared an image of her ringed hand gently holding a baby’s foot, accompanied by a heartwarming caption: “A little miracle on the first day of 2024, we are so truly blessed… can’t tell u how happy I am for this very very special bundle of joy.”
The post led to an outpouring of congratulations from followers, including celebrities like model Naomi Campbell and actress Sharon Stone. However, the ambiguity surrounding the post sparked speculation about Yeoh being the child’s mother, leaving some puzzled about the circumstances.
This speculation gained traction as Yeoh had tied the knot with her husband, Jean Todt, in July 2023 after a 19-year courtship. Many online users were left questioning the possibility of Yeoh being the baby’s mother.
Clearing up the confusion, it was revealed that the baby boy is, in fact, Todt’s grandson. Yeoh’s niece, Vicki Yeoh, clarified that the newborn belongs to Todt’s son, Nicolas.
Subsequently, Michelle Yeoh addressed the speculation in another Instagram post, expressing gratitude to Nicolas and his partner Darina for making them the “happiest and proudest grandparents” and welcoming baby Maxime into the family.
