7-8-2023 (LAS VEGAS) The playful banter between tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk has taken an unexpected turn as Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta (formerly Facebook), has accepted Musk’s challenge for an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fight. The challenge was initially thrown by Musk on June 22, and to the surprise of many, Zuckerberg has expressed his eagerness to step into the octagon.
The exchange took place on the Threads social network, owned by Meta, where the two influential tech moguls engaged in a lighthearted back-and-forth. Zuckerberg, known for his reserved demeanor, surprised his followers by accepting the challenge and proposing August 26 as the potential date for the fight.
In his response, Zuckerberg acknowledged Musk’s physical advantages, including his larger size and weight. With a reported height of 173 cm and an estimated weight of 70 kg, Zuckerberg humorously suggested that his chances of winning might be higher if the fight were short and intense.
However, Musk, the owner of the X social network and CEO of Tesla, highlighted his physical attributes, stating that he weighs approximately 136 kg and stands at a height of 185 cm. He noted that weight divisions exist in MMA for a reason, hinting at his confidence in a prolonged fight that tests endurance.
