8-11-2024 (JAKARTA) A man’s extraordinary composure during a bizarre encounter with a green vine snake in the Malaysian rainforest has captured widespread attention on social media, after footage showed him delivering an impromptu “bite review” while the serpent remained attached to his forehead.
The Indonesian content creator maintained remarkable calm as the snake latched onto his forehead, even managing to grasp the reptile with one hand while narrating his experience.
“Since I’ve already been bitten, let me give you all a bite assessment,” the man explained through visible discomfort, as blood vessels around the bite area became prominently visible. “I must warn you – this really hurts, and beginners should absolutely not attempt this.”
He went on to explain his measured response to the situation: “The snake has a firm grip on my forehead. Attempting to forcibly remove it would only cause it to bite down harder.” Instead, he waited patiently for the snake to release its grip naturally and slither away.
Wildlife experts note that while the green vine snake is venomous, its toxin poses minimal risk to humans, being primarily effective against small prey such as frogs and birds. The incident has sparked considerable discussion online, with social media users both amazed and amused by the unusual “review.”
