Ditching the usual car or motorcycle, he drove the tractor to a shopping mall in Khon Kaen, Thailand, leaving many bewildered by the unexpected sight.
Concerned for his whereabouts, the man’s family began searching for him when he failed to return home. They quickly located him after pictures of the tractor in the shopping mall circulated on social media.
Following the discovery, he was admitted to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation and treatment.

The unexpected scenario sparked curiosity, with one caption humorously questioning the presence of a million-baht vehicle in such a public space, noting its perfectly aligned parking.
Further investigation revealed that the tractor driver was a 33-year-old psychiatric patient named Tangmo, confirmed by a Facebook page.
Family Locates Him with Public’s Aid On Wednesday (April 24), Tangmo’s family received information from a concerned member of the public, leading them to his whereabouts, as reported by 3Plus News. They located him with the assistance of this information and alerted the authorities, who took him to Kumphawapi Hospital in Udon Thani for a night before transferring him to a hospital closer to his home.
Third Time Missing Tangmo’s mother disclosed on Thursday (April 25) that this incident marked the third time he had gone missing. On April 22, he had driven out in the tractor and not returned home. His family later learned about the viral images on social media but were unaware of his subsequent whereabouts.
His mother revealed that Tangmo, who has a psychiatric disorder, had previously been admitted to a hospital in Loei. She explained that he had intended to pawn the tractor for 60,000 baht (S$2,640), but his actions beyond that remained a mystery to them.
