The influencer, known for running a beauty brand, shared a video on TikTok on January 3, showcasing an empty cinema hall where she enjoyed popcorn while watching an undisclosed movie.
In her TikTok caption, Eriyca mentioned, “We are the introverted type! So we bought all the seats.” The video reveals around 10 rows, each containing 16 seats, potentially costing her between RM1,760 and RM5,600, considering ticket prices ranging from RM11 to RM35.
The TikTok video has garnered approximately 60,000 views and 280 comments. Some users expressed their preference for watching movies alone, while others suggested opting for higher-class tickets. One user recommended purchasing Gold Class or Platinum Class tickets, known for enhanced services and comfort. Eriyca clarified that Gold Class tickets for the movie were unavailable.

Responding to the discussion, another user shared a personal strategy, saying, “always buy movie tickets at a fancy shopping mall at 12 pm on Mondays.” This tactic aims to choose a time when the cinema hall is likely to be empty, eliminating the need to buy out all the seats.
