Out of a staggering 2,496 entries, with over 900 coming from the APL network over the past 12 months, Sean emerged as the last player standing. In an interview following his victory, Ooi described the experience as surreal, akin to a dream. He expressed his gratitude to his friends, intending to name each one individually. However, realizing the sheer number of individuals to thank, he singled out his girlfriend, Mandy, for her unwavering support.
The tournament organizers extended their congratulations to all the participants, emphasizing the outstanding performance of Josh Hutchins, who secured the second-place position. They acknowledged the collective contributions of the competitors, highlighting the event’s status as the greatest tournament in APL history.
