21-7-2023 (KUALA LUMPUR) A group of Malaysian content creators has sparked controversy by participating in a bizarre and repulsive TikTok challenge, which requires them to wash their faces with toilet water as a forfeit.
Yes, you read that right. They actually did it.
The shocking videos featuring these extremely gross forfeits were shared on Facebook by a user known as “Komandan Marco” on July 14.
Warning: These videos are not for the faint of heart, so proceed with caution.
The context behind the original challenge remains unknown, but it appears that other peculiar challenges have been trending on TikTok in Malaysia recently. These challenges include stuffing one’s mouth with soil, wrapping one’s head in masking tape, and even pouring powder over one’s face to mimic a ghostly appearance.
Participants carry out these challenges live on TikTok while interacting with other content creators and viewers. The audience can contribute to either side’s victory by sending “Gifts” or likes.
In the first video showcasing the toilet water forfeit, a male user named “cengkoimanja” emerges as the winner of the challenge, with his face covered in colorful powder as part of the game. Meanwhile, the unfortunate loser sits in front of a toilet bowl, submerging her hands in the water.
After some hesitation, she proceeds to scoop a substantial amount of toilet water and splashes it onto her own face, as if she were refreshing herself in the morning. She repeats this stomach-churning act two more times before the challenge finally concludes. At times, she spits out some of the water that inadvertently enters her mouth.
In the second video, the male participant in a black t-shirt, who lost the challenge, appears to be more enthusiastic about the forfeit. He immediately plunges his hands into the depths of the squatting toilet to fetch the infamous “eau de toilette.”
With great enthusiasm, he rubs and massages the liquid onto his face, while his female counterpart watches in horror, even covering her eyes at one point.
