23-7-2023 (BEIJING) A recent accident in China’s Jiangsu Province has sparked a heated discussion among netizens after a Bugatti, the luxury French supercar valued at over 15 million Malaysian Ringgit, attempted to cut into the right lane but collided with a BMW.
The incident began when the Bugatti attempted an illegal right turn, and the BMW refused to yield, resulting in a collision. The right-side door of the Bugatti suffered severe damage, displaying deep and visible marks that would require repair costs estimated to be in the millions of Chinese Yuan. On the other hand, the BMW’s left-side door was impacted, leaving the driver trapped inside the vehicle and unable to exit. Upon hearing the driver of the Bugatti threaten him, the BMW owner recorded a video inside the car, angrily berating the other driver, “You’re fully at fault and yet you still scold me and damage my car! You even tell me to be careful on the road! Is being rich an excuse to act this arrogantly?” Netizens have been discussing the incident, raising questions about the behavior of affluent car owners and their attitudes on the road.
The incident has fueled discussions on social media, with some netizens questioning the extravagant behavior of the wealthy and expressing concern about such high-end cars being mishandled or damaged. Others speculated about the backgrounds of individuals who can afford to drive such luxury vehicles, suggesting they are either extremely wealthy or have powerful connections.
