27-2-2025 (SANTA FE) Acclaimed Academy Award-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, accomplished classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, have been discovered deceased at their residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Multiple sources have confirmed the deaths of the 95-year-old screen legend and his 63-year-old spouse.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office made the sombre discovery on Wednesday afternoon whilst conducting a routine welfare check at approximately 1.45pm. Spokesperson Denise Avila confirmed the finding to the press, adding to the growing number of verified reports surrounding the incident.
