The diplomatic circuit begins with Harris’s arrival in Singapore on 15th January, where she is scheduled to hold discussions with key government officials and conduct an inspection of Changi Naval Base, underscoring the United States’ commitment to maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region.
The following day will see the Vice President in Manama, Bahrain, where she will engage with senior leadership and tour the Naval Support Activity-Bahrain facility, home to both the US Naval Forces Central Command and the Fifth Fleet. This visit highlights the strategic importance of American naval presence in the Gulf region.
The final leg of her journey takes her to Spangdahlem, Germany, on 16th January, where she will visit the US Air Force’s 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base, reinforcing trans-Atlantic military cooperation.
