Anucha stated that Lisa’s photograph not only attracted tourists to Ayutthaya but also provided a significant boost to local retailers, driving an increase in their revenue. Additionally, her choice of attire sparked a newfound interest in traditional fabrics among the public.
The mesmerizing blue Sinh worn by Lisa was crafted from Udon Thani’s renowned indigo-dyed cotton known as “Pha Fai Mak Clone Yom Kram.”
Furthermore, Anucha emphasized that the caretaker government is actively collaborating with the private sector to leverage Thailand’s soft power on the global stage.
To capitalize on the growing fascination with Ayutthaya, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has curated a special trip that allows travelers to explore the three temples visited by Lisa: Wat Na Phra Men, Wat Phra Mahathat, and Wat Mae Nang Pluem. This initiative aims to provide visitors with an immersive experience and deepen their appreciation for Thailand’s cultural heritage.
With Lisa’s influential role in the K-pop industry and her passion for showcasing Thai culture, she continues to make significant contributions in bolstering the country’s international presence.
