Insiders have revealed that the couple has been grappling with “serious problems” in recent times. According to an additional source cited by People, Joe Jonas has taken steps to secure a divorce lawyer.
Over the past three months, Joe Jonas has been shouldering a substantial portion of the childcare responsibilities for their young children. This responsibility has persisted even as he embarked on a nationwide tour alongside his brothers, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
Recent reports from Page Six have noted that Sophie Turner was spotted enjoying herself in the crowd at Yankee Stadium during the opening night of the Jonas Brothers’ tour last month. Notably, both Joe and Sophie have been seen without their wedding rings.
Adding to the speculation surrounding their relationship, the couple recently sold their Miami mansion, just a year after acquiring it.
