24-7-2023 (BANGKOK) Hong Kong singer and K-pop star Jackson Wang had a startling experience in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday (July 22) when an overzealous fan managed to breach his security and forcibly pulled him out of his car. The incident occurred as Wang was leaving a building where he had attended an event, and a large crowd of passionate fans had gathered outside.
In a swift and bizarre encounter, a woman wearing a mask approached Wang’s car, grabbed his back and shirt, and forcibly pulled him out of the vehicle. The entire incident lasted just five seconds, but videos of the shocking incident quickly went viral on social media.
Initially stunned by the unexpected encounter, the 29-year-old singer was soon assisted by one of his staff members, who intervened and pulled the woman away. Despite the ordeal, Wang remained composed and professional, assuring the gathered crowd of his well-being with a wave before leaving the venue. Shortly after, he posted a video on his social media accounts, showing himself smiling, demonstrating his resilience.
The incident has raised questions about the level of security provided to the star during public appearances. However, Wang’s loyal Thai fans took to Twitter to express their apologies and remind others to respect his privacy and personal space, emphasizing that the safety and well-being of their idol should be paramount.
This is not the first time Jackson Wang has faced an uncomfortable encounter with an overenthusiastic fan. During his Magic Man world tour in Brazil in May, he invited a fan on stage during a performance of his song “I Love You 3000 II,” only to be groped by the fan in a moment of excessive enthusiasm.
