10-2-2024 (ISLAMABAD) Imran Khan, Pakistan’s incarcerated former Prime Minister, declared triumph in the nation’s general election on Friday through an audio-visual message crafted using artificial intelligence, which he shared on his social media platform X.
In the message, typically conveyed through his legal representatives, Khan refuted the earlier assertions of victory made by his rival, Nawaz Sharif. Instead, Khan urged his supporters to rejoice in a triumph attained despite what he perceives as a concerted crackdown on his party.
Despite Khan’s imprisonment and his party’s exclusion from the polls, independent candidates endorsed by him secured the highest number of seats in Thursday’s national election.
